At Bailiwick Blue much of what we do begins with soil, plants a pair of working hands. We grow colour harvest flowers, process indigo, working with nature in a continuous rhythm throughout the season.Â
Our "Raison d'être" is to give opportunity to reduce impact of toxic materials by way of colour.Â
For this reason, the ability to offer fabrics and garments, accessories and furnishing made from natural, bio-degradable fibres is not only exciting, but deeply important to us.Â

Green Tailor works with organic cotton, peace silk, wool and linen, creating simple garments, textiles and home furnishings. These clothes and cloths are made for people who are; dyers, makers, artists, and those who prefer natural biodegradable fibres next to their skin.Â
Why Green Tailor
I had been looking for clothing and textile which aligned with Bailiwick Blues work: natural fibres, solid construction, wearability and or course dye-ability; printed, bundle dyed, vat dyed et al.Â

Natural Fibers offer a wonderful starting point for natural dye work. Organic cotton, wool and silk are known to take plants colour in a way synthetic fibres simple do not. For those of us who work with natural dyes we all know, good cloth matters, It is not just a blank canvas, it is the foundation of the creative process
How the Group Order will work.
The Green Tailor UK Group Order will run as a 13 day Pre-Order, 1st July until 13th July 2026
During this window, customers can choose from Green Tailor collection of garments and textiles and place their individual orders.
At checkout, customers will pay 50% of their order total to confirm their place. Once the order window has closed, the final order value will be calculated based on the "Total combined Volume". The greater the combined volume ordered, the lower the individual prices will be. Any remaining balance will then be requested through a secure payment link.Â
The completed group order will then be shipped from India to the UK before being dispatch by Bailiwick Blue to individual customers.Â
Please note: this is a group pre-order, not an immediate- dispatch purchase. This format helps reduce individual international shipping costs and gives customers access to the collective group order pricing.
Who is this for?
This order is of interest if you:
- work with natural dyes or botanical printing and dyeing
- prefer natural -fibre clothing, accessories & textiles
- want to support a slower, more thoughtful textile supply chain
- are looking for simple, beautiful garments and fabrics in their natural state, which are biodegradable.
Some pieces may become future dye projects, some may simply be worn as they are. Either way, the intention is the same: useful, beautiful clothing and textiles made from fibres which are one with nature.Â
